HKScan's Finnish operations are carried out by HK Ruokatalo Oy and LSO Foods Oy.
HK Ruokatalo Oy is in charge of industrial operations, sales, marketing, logistics and transportation while LSO Foods procures pork, and beef for HK Ruokatalo.
HK Ruokatalo manufactures and markets meat, processed meat and convenience foods. Our suite of products includes sausages, cold meats and convenience foods. HK Ruokatalo also produce a range of ready cut raw meat, as well as ready seasoned and marinated meat for meals made at home and for the horeca sector. Additionally, the company also make a wide range of delicious broiler and turkey products for every day meals and special occasions alike.
HK Ruokatalo Oy's brands in Finland are HK and Kariniemen.
In 2009 the HKScan Group got 33.6% of its net sales and 43.0% of its earnings from market area Finland.
