Mika Koskinen, M.Sc (Engineering) has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, COO of HKScan Corporation. Koskinen will start in his position on 7.1.2019 and report to the President and CEO. Mika will be responsible for carrying out the Group-wide efficiency improvement programme. Before joining HKScan, he previously worked at Valio LTD in various Group-level executive positions in operations and sales, both in Finland and abroad. Mika was also a member of Valio’s executive board.

Esa Mäki (Master of Agriculture and Forestry, MMM) has been appointed as Director responsible for developing HKScan’s meat balance and meat supply. Esa will report to the President and CEO. Armed with extensive experience in the meat industry, Esa will join HKScan from Atria, where he is in charge of meat export and industrial sales and serves as Managing Director of Atria’s subsidiary Best In Oy. Mäki has previously held several executive positions in HKScan’s meat business and subsidiaries Broilertalo Oy and HK Ruokatalo Oy. The precise date of his appointment will be communicated later.
