On 11 January 2023, 110 years will have passed since twenty meat producers from south-west Finland founded Lounais-Suomen Osuusteurastamo (LSO). The same year, 1913, is also the year HKScan was founded.
LSO transferred its business to HKScan in 1988 and is now the owner of HKScan.
In the course of more than 100 years, HKScan has grown into an international listed company with the long-term goal of becoming a versatile food company. Its responsibly produced and tasty products are part of consumers’ varied food moments – both every day and on special occasions.
We make food that does good and continue to build a future of responsible and carbon-neutral food production.
