At HKScan’s Rakvere unit in Estonia on Saturday, 9 January, a work place accident took place and one employee of HKScan was deceased. In the accident, caused by an ammonia leakage, additionally three other employees were injured. One of them is at hospital care at the moment

The accident occurred in conjunction to normal maintenance work. Authorities and HKScan Estonia AS are currently investigating the reasons for the accident.
