HKScan Finland has acquired the Forssa-based business of the freezing and refrigeration services company Pakastamo Oy. HKScan will assume ownership of the Forssa operation on 1 May 2016. All of Pakastamo-Forssa’s employees will join HKScan Finland’s personnel.

HKScan Finland owns a 50 per cent stake in Pakastamo Oy. The company’s co-owner is the dairy company Valio, which also owns a 50 per cent stake. Pakastamo Oy additionally owns facilities in Helsinki, Vantaa and Tuusula.
