ʻSnacking is increasingly popular and HKScan has years of experience in snack products. The co-operation with Bakery Rosten will supplement our product portfolio within the intensively growing snack category, says Jari Leija, EVP, Business Unit Finland at HKScan.
HKScan has purchased the business and brand of Jokisen Eväät Ltd

ʻFish is already present in the product portfolio of HKScan as raw material in meals and meal components. It is of importance for us that Kimmo Jokinen, with his long expertise in the fish industry, will continue at HKScan and lead this product group. The co-operation to be initiated now will provide us with an opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the growing fish product category in more depth’, Leija points out.
Local and responsibly produced meat and meat products will stay in the centre of the operations of HKScan also in the future. Partnerships enable flexible expansion to new product categories and raw materials and also support HKScan’s growth into a versatile food company.
