Wellbeing and safety

We invest in wellbeing at work

For HKScan, wellbeing at work means that work is safe, healthy, pleasant and the workload is balanced. Wellbeing consists of the balance of the body and mind, as well as the right kind of energy, strain and recovery.

As employers we ensure the safety of the work environment, good management and the fair treatment of employees. Our employees also play a major role in maintaining their work ability and professional skills, and therefore wellbeing is a joint effort.

Our Occupational health processes refer to the establishment and maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment in close co-operation with the workplace. It also has the task of promoting and supporting work-related health and workability of individuals and work communities.

Our work place safety objective is to have well-functioning, good, high-quality and up-to-date safety procedures based on zero-accident thinking. The uncompromising basic behind the “zero accidents” thinking is that every accident can be prevented.

  • Safe working conditions which do not jeopardize health.
  • Preventing of work accidents and health risks.
  • Minimizing the risks caused by the work environment.
  • Maintaining systems which promote health and ability.

"Your work environment and wellbeing are as important as the work itself."
