HKScan’s core business principle is consumer and customer satisfaction which calls for highest quality of products. Our control of the whole supply chain from farm to fork enables us to supply Antibiotic Free poultry (ABF), that is also guaranteed Salmonella free. This is really exceptional what comes to poultry meat in the whole world.
To ensure safety and animal welfare we have both own and National veterinary inspection, before, during and after slaughter. The special Salmonella status is also acknowledged by EU. HKScan have modern poultry factories in Denmark and Finland and these are market leaders in respective markets. HKScan exports Poultry and poultry products to almost 50 countries.
Salmonella- and antibiotic-free chicken
HKScan plays a leading role as a promoter of animal welfare in Finland and Sweden, countries renowned for their early ban on growth promoters and their zero tolerance of salmonella. The exceptional health status of Finnish and Danish poultry is internationally acknowledged by the World Organisation for Animal Health.
All our chicken is 100% salmonella-free and no meat meal or hormones are used in our production. Our poultry production units meet the highest quality standards, complying with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO/FSSC 22000 requirements. Some of our plants are also BRC-certified.
