Sustainalytics rates HKScan in the top 8 per cent of nearly 600 international food companies in terms of responsibility risk management (our ranking is 43rd out of 579 companies assessed). Among packaged food producers, HKScan is ranked in the top 4 per cent (11/338). Sustainalytics’ latest ESG assessment of HKScan was published in September 2022.

HKScan’s key responsibility targets are defined in the responsibility programme Food that does good. The company’s key target is a carbon-neutral food chain by the end of 2040. HKScan works on responsibility throughout the food chain, from farms to consumers, together with its contract farmers and other partners.
