The targets of HKScan Group’s responsibility programme relate to the wellbeing of nature and people: to climate, packaging, biodiversity and the safety and wellbeing of employees.
In 2022, a commitment to increasing biodiversity in the company's long food chain was added to the programme.
Other key responsibility themes for the company include animal welfare, healthy and safe food and a competitive farmer community. These themes are promoted within the Business Units as they are subject to local regulation and stakeholder expectations vary across markets.
